Hello you lovely lot!

Hope life is treating you all well! I recently have changed up my hair and nail care products and appliances! Ever since having my colour change and cut, it’s been extremely important for me to try keep my hair in the best condition I can! I style my hair often using a lot of heat, so anything that is going to leave my hair super soft I LOVE! I thought I’d do a little post of photos of my favourite products, with little descriptions about why they are all so amazing!

I’ll start with nails!! Now I’ve never been a big fan of nail polishes because I find they always dry up so quick or go clumpy, or just never come out just right! I also am always on the hunt for the perfect grey toned nail polish! I’ve recently been using the beautiful Roxanne Campbell Autumnal Nail polishes. Her nail polishes are incredible! They are long lasting, cruelty free and there is a huge range of seasonal colours to fit all seasonal trends! Here are my favourite colours (below)

Now on to hair…. There are so many products I love so I’m gunna keep it short and simple!

GROW GORGEOUS HAIR CARE: I recently went to a lovely event with Grow Gorgeous Hair Care- and fell in love with their products!

The Full Bodied Volumising range is so perfect in giving your hair a boost and gives so much volume and shine!

The Scalp Detox and Back to Roots Mask- Makes your hair feel incredible! It makes my hair feel fuller, and shiny which I love! The Back to Roots Mask is my favourite-It’s like having a head massage, you leave on for 10 minutes and your scalp feels insane!

If you’d like to win some of these products you can also check out my giveaway on Instagram-ending Friday the 24th! Click Here!  All links to Grow Gorgeous Hair Care Products HERE!

I have also been using some wonderful products from Paul Mitchel- I went to their Christmas Party Dinner, which made me so excited for Christmas and also so excited about making my hair smell like heaven!

I received this- which has changed my hair life! I was really struggling with toner as it would tend to leave huge purple streaks in my hair! Where as this Gem Lites- Colour care, help stop colour fading by adding colour within washes and keeping it soft! They come in 10 different shades so if you are having problems with your colour, I’d 100% recommend!! — LINK HERE TO GEM LITES.

If you wanna smell like you’ve been at a hairdresser all day! This is the shampoo to use, my hair feels silky soft and I can’t stop smelling it!!! I also use the hair spray as it smells wonderful and doesn’t leave my hair feeling sticky! Shop their products HERE!

NOW for styling! I get asked a lot about what I use to curl and straighten my hair! Well recently I’ve been using some incredible hair appliances! Which have made it super easy for me when styling and drying my hair!

First off the incredible, detangle brush hair dryer from Glamoriser! My hair is very thick and gets so knotty, so I never used to enjoy drying my hair. This is so lovely and easy to use! It drys your hair really quick and keeps it feeling amazing! Honestly you all need one of these in your life!! CLICK HERE to purchase!

I also now use this amazing In Styler Ceramic Styling Brush which makes my hair feel insane! If you struggle getting your hair super straight or find it leaves it feeling super knotty, then you should 100% try this!! CLICK HERE to purchase!

I’ve also been using my InStyler Rotating Iron! Which straightens, curls and adds volume! You can use it to style your hair is so many ways, and works an absolute treat when I’m trying to curl my hair, as I’ve always struggled to curl the back! It’s super easy to use, and the brush allows it to feel smooth, which is ideal! If your wondering how I get my curls and straight hair this is what I use, and I couldn’t love it more! It’s worth every penny, and the most perfect gifts! CLICK HERE to purchase!

Here’s my hair recently after using all these products daily, and the InStyler Rotating Iron and Ceramic Styling Brush- both straight and curly!

Hello lovelies!

Hope you’re all well!

After doing a poll on instagram a lot of you said you’d like a post about why I started blogging and how I got into it all! So I thought I’d do a little post about it, with any little tips I can include along the way!

I’ve always loved fashion and been interested in styling. I love having the escapism of writing and being able to share my thoughts on my own little platform, that to me kinda feels like my own little world or scrap book. When I started working at Topshop about 3 years ago, I was surrounded by girls who had a huge love for fashion including my incredible best friend and stylish Pia Gloria. Being surrounded by that support and inspiration naturally just pushed me towards creating my own space to write down and share my styles.

I started by creating my page, I searched different themes using Pip.dig who were really helpful when creating my blog layout and helping me set it up. I created my page with WordPress and create a domain with Siteground allowing me to have loveindiamoon.co.uk!

After that, I started slow. I posted little bits here and there and really just enjoyed writing ALOT. I say a lot because I honestly would rant on and on! I think after about 6 months I hit a wall… I started comparing. Everyone does it once in a while, but mine was becoming unhealthy. I started comparing and feeling really down about myself, which was no ones fault but my own. So I decided to stop to focus some time on me and feeling a bit more happy and healthy in my body. I unfollowed people who I was obsessing over, who were showing a dreamy lifestyle (which is wonderful and I have no problem with at all) but at the time it was just making me compare myself and my life too. Which was just were I was at in that moment.  After a few months of focusing on myself, positivity and my health. Realising that it’s okay to have days of comparison but also its important to love parts of myself and my flaws. It really helped me feel a little more confident in just doing me. Doing something that makes me happy and creating an Instagram platform and blog space that reflects me and my own personal journey.

That’s why I love blogging, I love styling outfits, i love photography, I love working with brands and I especially love all the incredible and supportive influencers I’ve met along the way so far. It honestly is such a hard working, beautiful community and being part of it is super exciting.

I’m ranting on of course, so I’ll try keep it quick… I then decided to start back up and again take it slow but post more of me within my captions, photos and styling! Rather than thinking about how many followers or likes or if I’m posting the right kind of brands… I’ve just been enjoying the process!! I enjoy just being able to express myself.

If you ever want to start blogging, YouTube or just Instagram blogging then do it!!!! Don’t think about what others may think, just make sure your happy, your expressing yourself and focusing on you.

Try not to get caught up in comparing, as we are all on our own journeys and should all support one another along the way!

If you want to know absolutely anything else, then just send me a little message on my Instagram! ‘indiamoon ‘ Click here!

Hello lovelies,

Hope you’re all well!

I wanted to do a little post today about Time. About living in the now and taking the time to look after yourself. I also wanted to share some photos of the most beautiful watches from Henry Watches London , which make the most perfect presents or even Christmas presents. I mean Christmas is only round the corner!! How quick has this year gone by?! This week I was extremely lucky to do a shoot with Henry Watches in London, and I ended up falling in love with all of their designs.

I think a lot of us at this stage in our lives, can take on so much. Whether it be work, university, family life or even just overloading ourselves with lots of little things to do. Which is great, being productive and busy is a good thing. However, I feel like sometimes we can forget to take a little bit of time out of our day, to just tune into ourselves, switch off from technology, look up a little more and have some time to relax.

I personally feel as a blogger that sometimes I can put the stress on myself, to be uploading enough or feeling bad that I can’t write some of the posts I want to, or trying to find spare time to get outfit photos, on top of university and working part time. But I’ve come to realise this is what I’m doing right now, and you have to find an equal balance and just do what you can with your time. It’s okay to take it slow. Everyones journey is different, so sometimes it’s good to have a few days doing absolutely nothing, if that’s what your body needs.

Don’t put the pressure on yourself to make everything perfect. Take TIME for yourself. Life is short so we should be treasuring the small moments, enjoying the time we’ve got and doing things we love.

Now talking about time… I also wanted to share with you all my favourite watch company, Henry Watches (Instagram Click here, Website Click here). Henry Watches are an worldwide brand that create beautifully unique designed watches. They also come in the most lovely packaging, in a tiny little brown suitcase!!!

Here are some of my favourites!! I honestly wish I could have them all! Hope you love them as much as me, and also keep your eyes peeled on my Instagram over the next few weeks for a super exciting giveaway, were you could win one of these beautiful watches and get it engraved too!

Hope you all have a happy weekend!

Hello you lovely lot!!

Thanks for taking the time to come visit my blog!!

On Saturday the 9th, I was really lucky to be invited to a Jo Malone event in Chichester, organised by the amazing @KatiekirkLoves !! I was so so excited about this because I’ve been super looking forward to trying their brand new perfumes!

The event was beautiful, held in the Jo Malone Shop in House of Fraser. Honestly, I could live in there!! We were given a talk all about the scents and how they were created- we smelt each scent before it was mixed into the final products. The new scents English Oak and Pomgranted, and English Oak and Hazelnut smell incredible. I personally preferred English Oak and Hazelnut as it smells slightly more fresh!

The smells in Jo Malone are so layered and beautiful! We then got to choose some scents to use for our arm and hand massage! I choose to have foam and cream in the scent ‘Wood and Sea Salt’ with the perfume English Oak and Hazelnut over the top. It smells insane! It also doesn’t fade on your skin, unless you shower of course! They are 100% my new favourite smells!

It was super lovely meeting all the beautiful other bloggers there too, and finally we all got to personalise our little gift boxes, with woodland stamps! I honestly feel so lucky, that I was invited to have such a wonderful day out and now smell amazing! So a huge thanks to Katie Kirk (@KatieKirkLoves) for organising the event and huge thanks to Jo Malone for having us!

Here are some photos from the day!

Hope you all have an amazing week!!

Hello Lovelies!!

Its finally September!! Which for me, means birthday month full of treats and my first ever London Fashion week!! The thing I’m so excited about is being able to wear all my new coats, now its getting colder!  And being able to eat tons of birthday cake! I always forget how the cold makes me feel, but honestly on rainy cold days all I want to do is cuddle up in fluffy clothes and eat loads of cake… So thats what I’ll be doing for the rest of this month!

Anyway, I thought I’d do a little post about the amazing Stella and Dot event I was lucky enough to be invited to last week! I’ve been in love with their jewellery for ages, and their pieces are so beautiful. There is also so much thought that goes into each individual design, making them all so unique and different.

The event was so lovely, and I got to have a sneak peak at the new range that is now out!!  I really wish I could have it all!! Something that really stood out to me was the fact their aim is to create items that are great for everyones lifestyles, and on the go busy lifestyles- they have earrings that are adjustable so you can wear them as studs in the day (for work lets say) and then can add on the tassels for going out in the evening!! Such a genius idea!!

I’ve included some photos of the event with some of my favourite girls from Brighton, who also all have such incredible blogs- that I’ve linked below!! I’ll also link the beautiful items I received! I couldn’t recommend this wonderful company enough!– Stella and Dot (Link to website here).
